Reflection
On March 21st, 2017 we had our fifth speaker of our Convocation 2017 series. Our speaker was Dr. Quintard Taylor and his topic was titled "The Challenge of Racial Frontier." Dr. Taylor talked about how African Americans were treated over the Centuries of history and how that changed effected African Americans now. During Dr. Taylor's presentation he had pictures to go along with his presentation. Those pictures really spoke to me because it's so hard to think about how African American were treated so badly and over the history how society are treating them now. We still have issues with equal rights, but at the very end of the day I'm happy that African Americans don't get treated on how their were treated back in the day. We hope we get to see you at next week’s Convocation on March 30th, 2017. Roko Bleic is the speaker for that week and he will be speaking about Happiness.
