According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median salary for individuals with master’s degrees was $68,000, which is $12,000 more a year than the median salary for individuals with only a bachelor’s degree. In addition, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, only 13.1% of people living in the United States have a master’s degree.

Earning your master’s degree has never been easier than it is today. If you have work and family obligations, don’t want to move locations, or any other reason, there are online options available. According to a study done by the National Center for Education Statistics, there were over 6 million students participating in online learning in 2017. Moreover, online learning gives you the flexibility of completing work at your own pace while still having set deadlines. Southern Utah University currently offers 11 master’s degrees online.
