Internships

Internships are a temporary, on the job experience, intended to help students identify how their studies apply in the real world and to gain experience which employers are seeking. The benefits to an internship include:

  • Direct, related, experience and skills to compete in today’s tough job market
  • Ability to better transition from school to professional employment
  • Possible permanent employment
  • Increased employment offers

Internships can be paid or unpaid and for credit or not for credit. Earning credit should be coordinated with your Department Chair.
