Accepting Your Scholarship Award
REMEMBER: It is recommended that you accept your scholarship within 30 days, but no later than May 1st for Institutional Scholarships.
You will need to sign into your mySUU account when following the link. If you haven't set that up, you will need to Activate Your Account first.
- Select the correct aid year from the "Award Year" dropdown list.
- Choose the "Award Offer" tab.
You will see your scholarship offer with a dropdown box that says "Take Action". Select "Accept" from the list (or "Decline" if you are declining the award.) Submit Decision.
Deferring Your Scholarship
If you would like to accept your scholarship but will not enroll for the upcoming fall semester, please complete the online scholarship acceptance process and fill out the online scholarship deferment form.
Acceptable reasons to defer your scholarship include, but are not limited to: military service, medical issues or church service. All deferments must be approved by the SUU Scholarship Committee. SUU scholarships may not be deferred for employment or to attend another institution of higher education.
